08/26/2008 - Metal Mondays at Lit Lounge...This is always a fun venue...in the basement of a bar that caters to yuppies that listen to top 40 music. Meanwhile back at the hall of justice, raging hardcore, metal and other are going on.
The Bronx is Burning started things up in the basement with thier insane jumping front man. Moving through each tune as if they were trying to collapse the roof.
Binary Code brought a one of a kind sound. These guys are excellant players. Kinda like Lamb of God with the cut up but groovin' riffs, always groovin'. Very prog with out the Euro. Straight foward-in the vien of Cryptopsy.
Seizure Crypt made sounds.
Also performed- Abacinate. This out fit had the largest drum kit to ever grace the platform in the basement at Lit Lounge. They also had probably the best reception- it seems metal heads don't come out 'till 11PM or so...
In other news,

08/23/2008 - Skull Fracture Friday at Otto's with Straphangers, What Doesn't Kill Me, an Chesty Malone and the Slice 'Em Ups. And Seizure Crypt.
Wow on Straphangers...a far more metallic sound, way heavy, less punk sound, more polished, new tune also(?). Mike is back at the throne. Bam.
Yea, Seizure Crypt performed.

What Doesn't Kill Me, as always were CRUSHING. Well rehearsed. Super high energy. Bobby tried to break the bass drum again. I keek drum! Being the drummer, I had to load equipment and head out, so I didn't get to see Chesty Malone and the Slice 'Em ups. Read the MySpace.com/SeizureCrypt blog to get the facts.

08/04/2008 - To anyone who cares or has an interest...
I(Doug/North Drummer) recently took a trip to Prairie Du Chien, Wisconson to purchase a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 in brilliant Hemi orange. The douche bags at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge not only dropped the ball and never ordered my ride, but after seven months wait (and a LOT of bullshit from Michael G. Nicolaou, manager) they tried to quote me a purchase price of 51% OVER MSRP!!! Not only that, but the wrong color interior was ordered. Not only that, but I figured since I was one of the very first people in North America to put a down payment on this ride way back in 2007 on Dec. 3rd, the first day to order this LIMITED EDITION MUSCLE CAR, I thought I might get one of the first ones(of only 6,400 being manufactured).
Not the case...SO, I went on E-Bay and lo an behold # 1,788 for sale with 2 hours and 22 minutes to go on the auction.
In the end the very nice people at SUT HILL FORD/DODGE in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconson did totally right by me and thier dealership. I traveled out by Amtrak train and drove the SRT Challenger back.
...and for $16,000 less than the scandalous dealership in Bayside.
This auto is a blend of '70's muscle and 2008 technology, perfectly intergrated. 425 horses. Fast. Responsive. Powerful and nimble, even for a 4,200 lb. vehecle...FUCK'N' FUN!!!

08/04/2008 - Performed at The Village Pub of Lindinhurst over the weekend with Distorted Truth, Mocking Justice, and Dead Letter Box. Distorted Truth jammed much like Black Sabbath hoped up on some good shit, then Seizure Crypt took the stage with the North Drumkit at the front edge. Told "you can't put the drums there". Mike SOS said- "it's what we do". North Drummer said nothing, set drums at front center of stage. Jam. Next up Mocking Justice. Loud. Tight. Smashing set. Final was Dead Letter Box. Did a Pantera cover tune. Petty good Tom says. No fan cam. Anyone have pictures of this show? Drop a line if you can give me doubbles. Also- the fan cam never came out from VFW What Lies Underground- so if anyone has flicks of our TV media boxing ring, please post them or drop a line to Band@SeizureCrypt.com.

08/01/2008 - Howdy folks...So our soon to be new CD is actually being manufactured as I write this post. We(Seizure Crypt) are very excited. In about a month's time "Under The Gun" will be here.
In the mean time we are writing a new tune, rehearsing, and continuing to book and perform gigs. Hope to see you tonight at Village Pub of Lindenhurst.

Under the Gun is currently in the "proofs" stage at DiscMakers. The proofs of the album artwork and layouts will have to wait to be O.K.'ed 'till next week when the band reconviens for rehearsal and shows. After that it's manufacturing time...

This day was hot as hell and so were all the bands performances. 1st off-THANK YOU to the V.F.W. for havin' all of us rejects!!! Also thank you to Hooliganism for comin' up from New Jersey to gig.

07/09/2008 - Hey people-Drug Pig in a big fucked up way...Myself, I've had a fatty tumor growing ever so slowly in my soft palette (roof of mouth) for over 10(?) years. It started to grow fast like, all of a sudden. So I had it chopped out of my head. An "ambulatory procedure" meaning same day in, same day out. After a small dose of intravienously served Sodium Pantenol (I think that's how ya say it...), same stuff that is used in leathal injection executions, I couldn't wake the fuck up for four days...That was on the 23rd of June. I'm all good now. Here's some flicks to bug out on>>>

So I pose this question...DO YOU THINK I, WE(SEIZURE CRYPT), OR ALL OTHER BANDS HAVE NOTHING TO DO EXCEPT STAND AROUND??? I WILL MAKE GOOD USE OF MY TIME...I'LL RETURN THE STATION WAGON I BORROWED, I'LL PUT UP THIS POST, AND I'LL CALL ALL MEMBERS, FANS, FRIENDS INVOLVED TO TELL THEM TO MAKE NEW PLANS FOR THIS EVENING...

06/15/2008 - Drove FOUR hours to go one and a half hours. In the same 11 miles. In New Jersey. MapQuest gave ERRONIOUS directions!(may be spelled wrong)
Any way, we traveled to N.J. to perform at a small bar in the woods.

06/14/2008 - ...Side Street Cafe-with faith healing in the front door, hit yourself in the brain with liquor 'round the back. Bloodbeat sounded GRRRRRREAT. What doesn't Kill Me sounded GRRRRRREAT. Seizure Crypt performed. Mike SOS injured hissself. Hurt his wittle weg. Can we make it to our next gig in New Jersey???...to be continued...
The highlight performance goes to Chris Cubic, with improvised lyrics adjusted to the current beer swiping situation. Yo! Scunt has a new- or another guitarist, didn't catch his name, but saw(and heard) his Randy Rhodes bullseye SG guitar. Nice. Lastly, in from upstate New York-Awkward Thought. Loud. Heard thier whole set while loading the bohemoth OUTSIDE. Loud.
Here is the 64,000 dollar question...does a drummer sit on a THRONE or a STOOL?
You know the later is a sample, right? That's a hint.

| 06/06/2008 - Peeps of the Crypt..."Under the Gun" is nearing completion. All layouts will be done this weekend. Hopefully on Monday it will go to DiscMakers for creation of 1000 copies. This is the start. Then off to the second phase of creation. I'm thinking by mid July "Under the Gun" will be available. We are using two manufacturers because one doesn't do what the other does and vice-versa. Don't want to give away the surprise...What is that fucking stink, Bro- Town???

05/18/2008 - Now this was a fun show...The WreckRoom on Flushing Ave. in Brooklyn.Performed were three bands; Seizure Crypt, What Doesn't Kill Me, and (the debut of) Wrench.
This little bar now has FOOD!...and pretty damn good food at that-props to the kitchen!!! (I got the three pub bugers with avacado, cheese and bacon.)
Anyway, this day and today (May 17 and 18) is MOPAR NATIONALS at Englishtown,N.J. so here's a pic for good looks. Mopar or no car.
Seizure Crypt took the stage first. Then W.D.K.M. performed, touting thier brand new CD entitled "All Business". Lastly, the new band Wrench, with TWO bass guitars and Zero six string guitars.

05/10/2008 - Running down the block, in the rain, pushing a drumkit on wheels with the Madness hizzself...What a cool place-in the front you can get some faith healing(for a fee), and if that don't werk fer ya 'round the side is this place-Side Street Lounge, you can stamp yer head with liquor and music.
Well Seizure Crypt performed there last night with some other bands I never heard of-Bobby Bass Drum and the What Doesn't Kill Mees, a BRAND NEW BAND called Shotgun For The Bride-(they wre like 17), some other band that I forgot the name of, None Survived, and Phantom from Conn.
All the bands performed well, as this gig turned out to be the "BAND CONFRENCE". Every band wanted to put on a good showing for each other, except for the 17 year olds who were seein' thier FIRST GIG. They just got up and played thier shit. They went on first and stayed around to the bitter end.(of the show)Research, you know? The band that I forgot the name of left after thier set...And Tommy WAS the crowd for Phantom.
Stick with the run, somethin'll give in the fourth...

05/05/2008 - All went as planned at Rocky Sullivan's in Red Hook. Exceptions were as follows...NO FRONT LIGHTING, NO AUDIANCE, NO BAR PATRONS. So, we video taped the perfomance and it will be up on this site soon...
My brother http://ButternutsBeerandAle.com and his ex-bussiness partner actually OPENED this bar in May of 2001. Wrong year and wrong town... Of course it was MUCH more interesting then, with a BREW HOUSE in the rear.
Now it's just a ghetto bar. Nice move Steve.

04/08/2008 - Lit Lounge...NYC...Seizure Crypt headlines a show!!!
Actually, by default due to a cancellation...This night was special.
We(Seizure Crypt) presented Bishop with a new Gibson Gothic SG guitar.If you recall back a few months(see news post-June 25th 2007 http://www.SeizureCrypt.com/site2007/news/html), Bishop's guitar was accidentally smashed to bits(see photo). We performed our soon to be released CD entitled "Under The Gun" in its entirity...North Drumkit miced up. Boom bangin'. Power punch.

Also performed were Envision(face front, front man!!!), Animal Slick Rick Kangol Blood-NOT! As per Anthrax '87. Scary hours(more pleasnt than scary) and VOICE OR NO VOICE. Let me say this...MY WAR! YOU SAID YOU WERE MY FRIEND, BUT YOUR ONE OF THEM, ONE OF THEM, ONE OF THEM!!!

What Lies Underground IV. A crazy, mixed up line up of raging, unsigned hardcore, metal, and punk bands. An all ages venue. Literally- I saw a four month old there!!!
World War IX were playing before I even loaded my gear to leave from home base. Rolled up an' repaired the drumkit. 12. 13. And the kick too. Stayed to see The Blame. Got a 6:30 slot. Went home to eat 'n' shower. Phone number to Madness ringin'. Goh now!!!

03/13/2008 - This is it, the best part, the part I really like...
Armed with a new banner, new stunts, and a full new set list, Seizure Crypt will kick off "Bro-Town Came to Town" tour 2008 this Friday (3/14/2008) at Bar131. Our goal is to book and perform fifty gigs this season (March through November is usually our season). We already have eight confirmed. Also listen for our new CD entitled "Under The Gun" due to hit this summer!

Our new CD "Under The Gun" will be mastered in 10 days time...During wich we(Seizure Crypt) will be laying out the CD booklet and such. Then off to manufacturing...
In the mean time-
Last year or maybe two years ago we appeared on a CD compilation assembled and promoted by WSVN.net. This CD was entitled "WSVN Hall of Fame #19". We are the ONLY hardcore band(or hard music band) on the whole thing. It was mostly country, folk and other.
